Headache & Migraine Treatment

We treat headaches using a non-medication based approach. We can help treat the source of your headaches and help you reduce or eliminate your need for medication and costly Botox injections.
Treatment of the head, neck, jaw, and shoulders is the most overlooked cause of headaches. We use a variety of manual therapy techniques and dry needling. Treatment is based on individual needs and may include other therapeutic techniques, if needed.

Dry Needling
Dry needling uses a thin, solid filament needle to stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points and connective tissues that may be contributing to pain and reduced mobility. Dry needling essentially works as a ‘reset’ of the affected tissue, helping to decrease pain, increase mobility, and normalize muscle activation patterns in order to optimize function.
Dry needling is not the same as acupuncture. Acupuncture is based on the idea of balance and restoring proper flow of energy throughout the body and is a technique based on ancient Chinese medicine.

Vestibular Therapy
Vestibular Therapy is for anybody struggling with vertigo or spinning sensations. This includes Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and other types of newly acquired visual motion sensitivity.
